Freedom

It’s raining here and Monsoon is just the best in Pune to enjoy the splashes of rain and me sitting here at the top of my college building and wondering while looking at the unending horizons…what is it that which will make me free?

Mind says its career, money, power, influence and fame which enable you to rule the materialistic world whereas the heart says its love, family and friends who empowers your emotional world and gives you the strength to fight. Well, I agree with both as I need them to survive. If you ask a 10 yr old child what he wants on his birthday then you must be expecting that he will say a bicycle or a cricket bat but when you actually do ask you will get Laptop as a reply. Nothing is wrong in that it’s just the aspirations of the kid and when you aspire you want the best. So when the mind overpowers, you want the best for yourself which never happens as we always keep pushing ourselves.

The heart asks for love, warmth, affection and sense of belonging. In the past few days I have realized that what attracts and fascinates you is not what you want and what you feel by heart is more meaningful.

Heart says what it feels and mind says what it decides and people get confused when they contradicts which is absolutely natural. The only difference is, you need to experience it in order to feel about it so that you can listen to your heart but mind doesn’t need it necessarily.

So what is the solution to get contented?

Mind and Heart echoes “It’s Freedom”.

Freedom from what? Is it money, power or emotional insecurity? There is no end to it and it keeps on coming to you again and over again. Family, friends and money all are necessities to exist and survive in this world. They are an inevitable part of our lives.
The question hasn’t answered yet and still goggling in the tunnels of confusion, illusion, perception and justification. I don’t know whether I am right or wrong but flashes of light in the unending tunnel says

It’s Freedom.

I need freedom from greed which holds me back in the materialistic world, freedom from limits which hinders my aspirations, freedom from pessimism which shatters my dreams, freedom from the principles which doesn’t fit into my journey and freedom from ego, fear, vindictiveness and lust. Life is worth living only when you have the power to stand alone , the unending fire within your heart, if you have the courage to make mistakes and learn from them and above all a blind faith in God.

Light cannot exist without darkness, so embrace your darkness.
